Bruno Cozzi, Managing Director of Bluegem, has over 25 years experience in the international corporate technology sector. He founded Bluegem in 1991 with a vision to match world class engineering solutions to everyday business systems. With exceptional industry experience, Bruno brings a hands-on approach, technological know-how and genuine passion for innovative and evolving systems.
At Bluegem, Bruno has developed an outstanding team of project managers, business analysts, software engineers and customer support teams.
Before coming to Australia, Bruno spent nearly a decade in the Royal British Navy in Telecommunications and Radar. After graduating from Portsmouth University in the UK in 1986 with a degree in electrical and electronic engineering, Bruno commenced his role as Software and Digital Systems Manager of ERG Telecommunication, one of Australia’s largest telecommunication companies at the time. Notably, Bruno was Project Manager for the highly innovative Smart Card personal banking system developed by Intellect Australia in the mid ‘90s.
Across his career he has contributed extensively to various technical, management and business analyst roles for companies that include RACAL, Marconi, Plessey, and IBM in the UK, with projects that have taken him to the US, Canada, Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia.
After designing and creating a suite of original software, Bruno developed Bluegem’s leading product, BluegemEXPLORE, a unique and fit-for-purpose program for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) in the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
Bruno works primarily with the Bluegem development team to ensure that Bluegem’s customers enjoy the highest levels of product quality, performance consistency and industry relevance. Highly experienced in project management, he ensures that Bluegem is continually commended for its commitment to high levels of quality, innovation and ease of use.
