Australian social trends leading to fatigue, stress and relationship breakdowns

Many Australian workers are over employed and want more time for leisure and spending with family, according to the latest Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Social Trends. A key concern that evolved from the latest June 2011 study suggests that over working may cause a work/life imbalance leading to fatigue, stress and relationship breakdowns.

These latest results indicate that in order for employers to maintain a healthy work/life balance for themselves and their employees, they need to implement management systems that achieve maximum efficiency without sacrificing quality and competency.

Bruno Cozzi, an expert in the international corporate technology sector and creator of BluegemEXPLORE, believes that by implementing a user friendly, web based Training Management System and Learning Management System, employers can save time and manage their staff training efficiently while still maintaining high performance results.

“By using a Training Management System that streamlines administrative work, manages staff training enrolments, delivers courses and assessments and reports to Australian RTO standards, employers can dramatically cut down on the time once spent manually managing training records,” said Bruno.

“RTOs from any training sector or size can use the flexible and customisable BluegemEXPLORE software, compliant with AQTF and AVETMISS reporting, to deliver skills and competency based training that generates, verifies and submits information to their compliance officer with ease,” he said.

In order to maintain a healthy work/life balance, Australian managers and employees have indicated that flexibility is a desired feature in their working lives, yet lack of communication and coordination in business practices limits the availability of flexible work practices, according to the 2011 Work+Life Fit Reality Check survey.

“Bluegem EXPLORE’s Public, Member and Admin Portals allow administrators, trainers, assessors and trainees access to information and the ability communicate with ease, while online learning allows training to take place at the user’s own convenience wherever they are,” said Bruno.

BluegemEXPLORE’s Training Management System also acts as a marketing tool for organisations with optimised tools for developing business opportunities with existing and potential clients.

“Using BluegemEXPLORE’s Template Designer web interface allows managers to easily create custom templates with the organisation’s colours, images, logos and content and use the system as a point of contact for clients at all times,” he said.

The Australian Vocational Education Training Management Information Statistical Standard (AVETMISS) for VET Providers is a national data standard that ensures the consistent and accurate capture of VET information about students, their courses, units of activity, and qualifications completed. It provides the mechanism for national reporting of the VET system.
